Guy Combes and Jackson’s African Safaris are offering a unique opportunity at this year’s Artists for Conservation Foundation festival. Not only will you be able to watch Guy raise funds for projects at Soysambu Conservancy with his quickdraw auction on Saturday 25th, 2019 10am – 12 noon in the AFC exhibit venue, but you will also have the chance to sign up for a once in a lifetime fundraiser safari for the Artists for Conservation Foundation in July/August 2019, which will include a visit to Soysambu itself, where you will have a chance to observe and participate in the conservation projects Guy is involved with and see where the money raised is spent first hand.

The two safaris will also include many other destinations in Kenya including; Samburu National Park, Lewa Conservancy, Nakuru National Park and the famed Maasai Mara Game Reserve – If you sign up for the upmarket tour, you will be guided by BBC Big Cat Live Series presenter Jackson Looseyia in the Maasai Mara.  Guy will accompany the group as tour host, with the perspective of an artist who has been celebrating the wildlife of East Africa his whole life.  We will have local professional driver guides taking care of us, working with Guy closely, allowing Guy to give his full attention to everyone.  You will also be able to visit locations that inspired Guy’s father, Simon Combes, and observe the great legacy he left behind with his work as an artist and conservationist.  These safaris provide a significant contribution to conservation.

There will be a presentation by Guy & Timothy on these safaris Friday, 24th August, 2019, 4-4.30pm in the AFC venue at the Vancouver Exhibition Center.
*Timothy Jackson will be available in the AFC exhibit hall during the festival to field questions and provide information.
